Who are we?

Engineering student with experience with the Venture Design Studio developing impactful and feasible ideas using tools such as Break it or Better it forms, Customer market worksheets and Value prop wheels to better understand the customer and make this idea profound and feasible, impactful.

-Has family owned local pizza joints that could be interested in this product

What are we offering?

Ever run into the issue where you are hungry and want to grab a pizza but since an individual slice is too small you get the whole box and now you have to take that box everywhere with you in order to eat it. My solution/offering is for these types of people, it is a cheap cardboard pizza box where the inside can be easily broken down into separate individual cardboard  “slices” that can hold one slice for the customer to take with them instead of the whole box. Also has heat packs for keeping the box nice and warm for prolonged periods of time.

Who are we offering it to?

-Local pizza shops with the need to stay ahead of the larger pizza chains in Calgary.

– Their current existing pizza box is the same old one that’s always been used for years and now they need something that will shake up the industry in Calgary and get them ahead of the larger chains.

 

Why does that person care?

  • The local pizza shops care about this product because it is something that the larger pizza chains do not have and possessing this product will help the local Calgary pizza shops gain a competitive advantage over the larger shops.
  • It is cheap and not that more expensive to construct than a regular old pizza box.
  • Easy to construct

 

Our distinctive competencies

-Cheap to make pizza box with individual cardboard “slices” that can be separated out from the main box and comes with heat packs to keep the box nice and warm for up to 7 hours (or a whole work/school day).

 

-I have contacts to my local family owned pizza shops who are willing to test on this product

-My local family owned pizza shop has the resources necessary to manufacture this product on a large scale and initial talks with them state that they believe that this product will provide them with a great competitive advantage over the larger pizza shops. .

  • To provide an easy to construct, cost effective pizza box that can be split into individual pizza box “slices” and stays warm for 7 hours

  • She is a student at the UofC
  • Always on the go and hungry

Why do they care?

  • She needs a “on the go” solution for a cheap food (pizza) that can stay warm for long and can be easily taken around with her

What’s your promise?

  • To provide a solution that can keep the food warm for 7hours and is portable because she can just take the slices she wants and not worry about carrying the whole box or getting cold

How will you message them?

-By emailing them various classes and seeing what they think.

  • She works on site at a construction field and not many options for food other than pizza

Why do they care?

  • She cares because everytime she buys pizza it gets cold and she has to take the whole box with her where ever she goes

What’s your promise?

  • To provide a solution that can keep the food warm for 7hours and is portable because she can just take the slices she wants and not worry about carrying the whole box or getting cold

How will you message them?

  • Through social media ads.
  • distribute brochures.
  • Radio ads and online ads which are tailored to specific users based on Google Adsense technologies

    Plenty of customer value when it comes to the convenience department! Having something like this gets rid of a common solution/problem in the form of plastic wrap which is hard to dispose of.

    As you mentioned, the conventional box has been around for years! This can make it difficult to enter a market, but with your connections regarding your reachable market there is a great opportunity to prove the concept.

    DC is a 5 to correspond to the more proper Common/Core rating scale.
