An amazing shelf

Post it anywhere you want

Our Idea

Who are we?

I am a designer——I like DIY.

I am a compulsive hoarding——I don‘t have too many spaces, but I dislike throw my collections away.

I am a lazy person——I want to put my stuff as close to me as possible and pick them up as easy as possible.

What are we offering?

A cardboard shelf, which can be posted anywhere, such like on wall/desk (enlarge your storage space) or post on your bed (help you to put your personal stuff e.g. glasses )

Who are we offering it to?

Nathan-A student without bedside table.

Camille-A mother with multiple children but not enough bedrooms.

Sam-A DIY lover.

Why does that person care?

More space——Children sleep in upper beds need some places to set their treasured toys.

A safer place——People without a bedside table need to put their fragile goods(e.g. glass, phone) in a safer place.

Convenience——DIY lovers, put/pick up their favorite tools anywhere.

Our distinctive competencies

Cheap——made by recycled cardboard, maybe less than 2$ each.

Flexible——you can post it anywhere you want ( you can not buy lots of desks and put them anywhere, right?)

Foldable——when you need to move, does not take too many spaces.

The substitutes & alternatives

Bedside table(expensive)

Bed shelf (wood/steel) (cannot be posted to anywhere you want)

The Value

Our first key person

Our first key person is Camille

Camille is a mother of 2 children,  both of children live together with a bunk bed. The kid sleep in the upper bed is far away from their bedside table( if they have one), so he doesn’t have a place to put his favorite toys. If just put on the bed, the angle of toys would hurt him, so Camille needs a proper place to put toys.

Our second key person

Our second key person is Nathan.

Nathan is a student lives on campus, but residents service don’t provide a bedside table. But he needs a safer place to put their glass, phones. Sleeping with his glass then finds it is broken or sleeping with his phone then finds it under the bed are not good ideas.

It is really cool to post a shelf anywhere he wants and put in anything he likes.

Our third key person

Our third key person is Sam

Sam is a DIY lover, and he has plenty of tools and small components. He doesn’t like put them in boxes because it is hard to find them again. But with my product, Sam can pick up his tools in the most convenient place and find them easier.

I think this product really find the right customers and know what they need. Just use cardboard is hard to reach a high distinctive competency, but it is not impossible. what this product can offer and people are clear.

He chooses the right customers, as a university student, I want to buy one for me, it is a painkiller, for other people maybe vitamins. Not very distinctive, easy to be imitated, I can make one if I want. I understand what he offers. Also, because this is not DC, so he could be the right person to complete this product.

The idea is so simple and distinctive competence is not strong maybe just a common. But I could be his customer, I like this idea, it is convent to me
